Transportation Options
Baggage Check
Don’t stress about bringing a car just to store your personal items at the convention. If you have personal luggage and items you do not want to carry around during the convention, free baggage check and storage is available at the convention for registered attendees.
Driving/Parking
Central Garage from the visitor entrance at 1900 E. 21st Street only. This is the closest garage to the Cleveland State Student Center. Parking costs $10 for 5+ hours. NO overnight parking available. See here for details.
South Garage from the entrance at 2101 E. 21st Street. This garage is a 5 minute walk from the Cleveland State University Student Center. Parking costs $10 for 5+ hours. Overnight parking is available. See here for details.
To avoid driving downtown or paying for parking, we highly suggest parking for free at Stokes Windermere or a free Park-and-Ride Red Line station and riding the Red Line and HealthLine to the CSU Student Center (see below for tutorial and details).
Public Transit (RTA): For those who wish to arrive by public transit, the RTA serves the Cleveland State University (CSU) Student Center via the HealthLine, 15 Union, 14-14A Kinsman, 11 Mayfield, and 8 Cedar-Buckeye. Day passes are $5. See the RTA website for schedules and details.
Via the HealthLine– the CSU Student Center is a 2 minute walk from East 19th Station and a 3 minute walk from the East 24th Station. The HealthLine provide 24/7 service, running every 15 minutes 5AM-10PM and every 30 minutes 10PM-5AM. If this is your first time riding, the process is similar to riding the Red Line- we have a helpful tutorial on YouTube explaining how. Be sure to pull the yellow cord to request a stop when approaching your stop.
If you are driving, you may park for free at Stokes Windermere Station and take the HealthLine. Stokes Windermere Station also has long-term overnight parking at designated spaces. Alternatively, you may choose to park at other free park-and-ride stations along the Red Line (stations with short and long term parking are listed here) and connect onto the HealthLine at Tower City/Public Square.
Via the 14-14A Kinsman– the CSU Student Center is a 1 minute walk from the E22nd & Euclid stop (westbound) and the E21st & Chester stop (eastbound). The 14-14A Kinsman provides 24/7 service, running every 30 minutes 4AM-11PM, every 60 minutes 11PM-4AM.
Via the 15 Union – Harvard– the CSU Student Center is a 1 minute walk from the E22nd & Euclid stop (westbound) and the E21st & Chester stop (eastbound). The 15 Union-Harvard runs every 30 minutes 5AM-10PM and every 60 minutes 10PM-12AM.
Via the 11 Quincy – Cedar– the CSU Student Center is a 1 minute walk from the E22nd & Euclid stop (westbound) and the E21st & Chester stop (eastbound). The 11 Quincy Cedar runs every 30 minutes 5AM-8PM, every 60 minutes 8PM-12AM.
Via the 8 Cedar-Buckeye– the CSU Student Center is a 5 minute walk from the Prospect & E21st stop (westbound) and the 1937 Prospect stop (eastbound). The 8 Cedar Buckeye runs every 60 minutes between 6AM and 8 PM
Intercity Transit
Via Amtrak- The Cleveland Lakefront Amtrak station is a 20 minute walk from Tower City. From Tower City, take the HealthLine (runs 24/7). See above for details.
Via Greyhound/Barons- The Cleveland Greyhound station is a 1 minute walk from the Brookpark Red Line Station. From there, take the eastbound Red Line to Tower City and transfer to the eastbound HealthLine. See above for details.
Plane
The RTA Red Line Airport station serves Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Take the eastbound Red Line to Tower City and transfer to the eastbound HealthLine. See above for details.
